Features of the 2020 Toyota GR Supra

Few cars released in the past few years have generated as much controversy as the 2020 Toyota Supra. The return of the iconic new Supra has made many car enthusiasts very happy.

Here’s a brief look at the Supra’s top features:

Transmission & Engine

The new Toyota Supra features a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine that is similar to BMW’s B58 unit. This is paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. This may upset manual fans, but the ZF 8-speed is one of the best automatic available in the market. It’s paired with a powerful 335 horsepower engine with 369 lb-ft of torque, capable of reaching from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds.

Sport Mode

With the press of a button, you can unlock the Toyota Supra’s sporty power. It features just two modes: normal and sport. By pressing the Sport button, you will wake up your engine along with sharp throttle response, quick shifts, tight dampening, and a bold exhaust. In a normal mode, the B58 sounds like a normal engine, but in the sporty mode, it sounds more like an AK 47! You’re surely going to make heads turn.

Trunk Space

To mention trunk space in a sport vehicle may seem weird, but a lot of buyers look for this feature. Your sports car should be usable on a daily basis, and with the 10.2 cubic feet of space provided in the Supra, it’s plenty livable. In addition, the hatchback design enables you to place long and bulky items in the trunk with ease.

The technology and switchgear design are similar to BMW, so you will ‘feel’ premium when you sit in the driver’s seat. This is probably the most premium you’ll ever feel in a Toyota. The automaker has added some of its own designs as well, such as a thinner steering wheel.
